Jesus is the Message. Love is the Method. Redemption is Resurrection.

Silent was Saturday

Silent was Saturday

Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. John 16:20
The day after the cross was quiet. No miracles. No thunder. No crowd. Just stillness. The he grief was fresh. The tomb was sealed. And Heaven seemed silent.
Jesus had told them this would happen.
You will weep… but your grief will turn to joy.
Still, the silence must’ve felt like a weight too heavy to bare .Saturday doesn’t get celebrated. It’s the in-between. The ache after loss but before the promise is fulfilled.
It’s where hope gets tested, and faith feels fragile. But Holy Saturday reminds all of us: God’s silence is not His absence. Even in the tomb, Heaven was working. What looked like delay was divine preparation. If you’re in a “Saturday season”—waiting, hurting, doubting—take heart.
Joy is coming. Resurrection is near.
The silence will break with a stone rolling away. Let's Pray:
Jesus, thank You for understanding what it feels like to be caught in the waiting.
When life is quiet and pain is loud, remind us of Your promise: our grief will turn to joy.
Help us trust You in the stillness. Help us rest in the “not yet” with hope.
We believe resurrection is already in motion.
Even when Saturday is silent—You are faithful. In Your holy name, Amen.
